Commonly Asked Questions
Answered by David Riemenschneider, Lead Pastor
What kind of church is it?
“It’s a community church, a friendly place to investigate the Bible and discover its practical applications to our everyday lives. The church is comprised of people from many church backgrounds, as well as those who have had little or no church experiences at all.”
Am I welcome?
“Of course you are! The faith community of Bloomingdale Church strives to make new friends feel welcome and wanted. I hope to see you soon.”
What is the worship like?
![]()
“Each weekend one of our worship team leads the congregation in a blend of traditional forms and contemporary elements. (If you would like to hear a sample from the music team, please go to the music team page.) For example, we sing some of the hymns, as well as the newer songs. We affirm our faith through the historical creeds and Scripture readings, and we also incorporate media and drama. Every weekend there is a timely Bible lesson, presented by one of our pastors. Our weekend worship is Saturdays 5:30 to 6:30 PM, Sundays 8:30-9:30 AM, and Sundays 11 AM-12 PM“
