What is “Missions?” Missions is the word we use to describe the God-given challenge of all believers to take the Gospel to every tribe, tongue, and nation in the world. Matthew 28:19 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
How do we do Missions? Bloomingdale Church participates in missions through a number of means. Because the church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) we are partners with hundreds of missionaries all over the world. Every year we hold a missions conference and invite missionaries to come and share their experiences with us. Also, as part of the C&MA our church gives financially to support these missionaries. Our financial support is directed to the “Great Commission Fund” (GCF), which provides for the living and operating expenses for our missionaries.
